Initially from a raccoon c3 vertebra which I found in Lake Erie, I utilized the lost wax method to cast over 90 sterling silver vertebrae (nearly a pound of silver) which I attached in a row to form this necklace. The closure is a mostly hidden box clasp utilizing a 14k gold tongue for strength.
