Breathe In — Breathe Out reflects the tension and anxiety of experiencing threats to Latine communities within the United States. As suggested by its title, the steady and repetitive layering of graphite marks is implemented in an attempt to steady ones nerves among the chaos of a divisive society and the harm placed on a targeted people.
